Abdulalim Ahmed serves as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of GULF Towers, bringing over 22 years of operational and engineering leadership experience across the Oil & Gas and industrial sectors in the Middle East and Africa.

A Mechanical Engineer by training, Abdulalim has built his career around operations excellence, asset reliability, and large-scale maintenance management, having held senior roles with international operators and service companies in Iraq, Sudan, and South Sudan. His background includes leading multidisciplinary teams across multiple oilfields, managing complex facilities producing oil, gas, and LPG, and overseeing critical rotating and static equipment in high-risk operating environments.

Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a strong ability to translate technical depth into operational results, delivering measurable performance improvements such as cost reductions, reliability enhancements, and failure-rate mitigation through engineering redesigns and structured maintenance strategies. He is highly experienced in preventive and corrective maintenance systems, reliability engineering, root cause failure analysis (RCFA), SAP PM, and workforce development.

As COO of GULF Towers, Abdulalim is responsible for day-to-day operations, execution oversight, process optimization, and operational strategy, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with the company’s growth objectives. His leadership style combines hands-on operational insight with disciplined planning and governance, making him a key driver of operational stability and scalable growth.

Abdulalim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Postgraduate Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Design. He is fluent in Arabic and English.
